ADVERTISEMENT FOR TERRITORIAL ARMY RECRUITMENT OF 120 INFANTRY BATTALION (TERRITORIAL ARMY) BIHAR AT RAJYOTSAV (MELA GROUND), NAYA RAIPUR (CHHATISGARH)
(NOTE : SERVICE IN  TERRITORIAL ARMY IS NOT A PERMANENT ASSURED JOB)

1. 120 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) BIHAR will be organising Recruitment Rally at Rajyotsav (Mela Ground), New Raipur (Chhatisgarh) from 20 February 2017 to 25 February 2017. Eligible candidates volunteering to join the Territorial Army may report for screening at 0600 hrs to 1100 hrs as per given schedule. Document checking, screening, medical test and interview for candidates screened in the rally will be held at the venue.

2. Vacancies for Recruitment.

(a)       Soldier (General Duty)        –           16.
(b)       Soldier (Chef)                       –           01.
(c)        Religious Teacher               –           01.
 

3. Eligibility Criteria (for Soldier General Duty/Tradesman).

            (a)       Age                                         –           18-42 years as on 20 February 2017.                                                                                                      Candidates between 18-21 years of age should                                                                                   be unmarried however candidates who are                                                                                           married should be 21 yrs of age as on                                                                                                     20 February 2017.
(b)       Tattoos                                   –           Persons with Tattoos visible in physical                                                                                                                   training dress are not eligible.

4. Eligibility Criteria (for Religious Teacher).

 
            (a)       Age                                         –           Candidates must not be below 27 years and                                                                                         over 34 years of age.  Serving Combatants or                                                                                                    Remustration not below 25 years of age and                                                                                         over 34 years on the date of commencement of                                                                                                Pre-Commission Training at Centre.
(b)       Tattoos                                   –           Persons with Tattoos visible in physical                                                                                                                   training dress are not eligible.

5. Educational Qualification (for Soldier General Duty/Tradesman).

(a)       Soldier General Duty          –           Should be Matric pass with minimum 45%                                                                                                            marks aggregate & 33% in each subject or                                                                                            pass or qualified higher class (i.e 12^th or above).
(b)       Soldier Tradesmen              –           10^th simple pass (excluding Safaiwala)                                                                                                                 and Masalchi – 8^th pass).

6. Educational Qualification for Religious Teacher. Minimum Education Qualification  will be a graduate in any discipline from  a recognised University in addition, the candidate must possess Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or Equivalent Standard in the Regional Language concerned OR Those who have passed BA with Sanskrit/ Hindi as one the elective (Main) subjects but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi.

7. Physical Parameters.

(a)       Height                                    –           160 cms.
(b)       Weight                       –           Minimum 50 Kgs.
(c)        Chest                         –           77cms with expansion 5 cms.

9. Physical Tests. Physical fitness test of 1.6 km Run, Pull ups, Balance walk on wooden beam and 9 feet ditch will be conducted.

10. Medical Inspection. Should be medically fit.  Shortlisted candidates shall undergo medical inspection.

11. Interview.   Candidates who qualify in the physical examination  will be interviewed by the Board of Officers.

13. Documents required. Candidates are required to bring the following certificates in original alongwith two sets of Photostat copies of the certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer:-

 
(a)        Birth certificate issued by Registrar of Birth & Death or 10^th Class Board     certificate showing date of birth.
 
(b)       Nativity/state subject/domicile certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM/ DM.
 
(c)        Caste/Tribe certificate/Community certificate issued by Tehsildar/SDM/DM.
 
(d)       Character certificate (issued within last six months) duly signed by             Sarapanch/SHO/Principal of School only.
 
(e)       Mark sheets for 10^th Class and 12^th Class and above if available. For Religious    Teacher only, Graduation from recognised University, Certificate of Madhyama in   Sanskrit         or Bhushan in Hindi.
 
(f)        Unmarried certificates from Sarapanch/Nambardar for candidates below                            21 years of age.
 
(g)       Photographs : 20 copies of latest coloured photographs taken in last six months (Computer print photographs will not be accepted).

(h)       Relationship certificate issued by Record Office concerned only, or father’s          discharge book for son’s of servicemen/Ex-servicemen/War Widow.
 
(j)         Sports and other achievement certificate.
 
(k)        Domicile as applicable.
 

14. Candidates who are not in possession of original documents and photographs will not be entertained for issue of token/screening.

15. Important points for the Candidates.

 
(a)        Territorial Army is purely a voluntary organization and essentially a part time job. People will be employed temporarily based on Government sanction and organization requirement.
 
(b)       The organization does not provide or promise any permanent employment.
 
(c)        Selected candidates will have to undergo initial training at nominated                                             Training Centres anywhere in India as decided by the competent authority.                                                Subsequently all enrolled personals will have to undergo minimum two months training             every year.
 
(d)       Longer embodiments as and when required by the organization will be called for,             however, the same is not assured or promised.
 

16. The authorities conducting the rally will not be responsible for any accident/injuries to the candidates during recruitment rally.

 
Note.

1. RECRUITMENT IS A FREE SERVICE, DO NOT PAY BRIBE TO ANYONE. BEWARE OF TOUTS. IF ANY TOUT IS CAUGHT AND DURING HIS INVESTIGATION ANY CANDIDATE IS FOUND TO HAVE PAID BRIBE, HIS SELECTION WILL BE CANCELLED.

2. OVERWRITING / TAMPERING ON CERTIFICATES IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

3. PRODUCING FAKE DOCUMENTS AND GIVING FALSE INFORMATION WILL MAKE YOU LIABLE FOR PUNISHMENT AS PER LAW AND LEAD TO TERMINATION OF SERVICE IRRESPECTIVE OF NUMBER OF YEARS OF SERVICE ONE MAY HAVE RENDERED.

4. NO MOBILE WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE RALLY SITE.
