We have an exciting opportunity for an A&P Mechanic to support Flight Operations in Dugway, UT.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision on routine work, this position supports flight line activities as well as hangar aircraft maintenance.
\n - Troubleshoots aircraft and/or engine systems to determine related problems and identify possible solutions.
\n - Provides technical assistance/oversight to customers in mechanical and inspection work.
\n - Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
\n - Inspect powerplant and related components at regular intervals.
\n - Repair fuel and/or oil leaks and/or engine problems as required. May remove and replace airframe and/or engine components as needed.
\n - Review records to ensure all required documentation is completed in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements.
\n - May perform all launch and recovery tasks of aircraft to include ground operations, preflight items, ground observer responsibilities, and post flight items.
\n - May inspect, test, maintain and operate ground support equipment.
\n - Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
\n - Assist with new powerplant and system development as required.
\n - Assist in the training of new Aircraft Mechanics and/or Field Service Representatives.
\n - Assist with the development and review of new processes and procedures; may assist in training programs.
\n - Other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications: \n - Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of aircraft mechanical maintenance experience.
\n - A&P School or equivalent military experience is desired.
\n - An FAA Airframe & Powerplant License is desired.
\n - Must possess:
\n - General working knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
\n - Basic computer skills.
\n - Basic interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and military and civilian customers.
\n
\n \n - Must have flexibility to work any shift, if necessary.
\n - Must be able to work both independently and on a team.
\n - Must be able to work extended hours as required.
\n - The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance is required.

Salary: $51,030 - $75,855
