Job Description

We are looking for a part time accountant for our asset management firm. This person will handle the AP process and also help with bank accounting reconciliations. As an accountant, you will oversee and manage financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Your key responsibilities include:

Job Duties consist of:

• Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Fact-checking accounting data
• Reconciling company accounts
• Assisting with tax payments and returns
• Working with staff accountants as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferred not required
• Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
