Job Title: Accountant
Location: Tacoma, WA (On-site) Part-Time
Salary Range: $72,800 - $93,600 DOE

Overview of the Accountant Role:

• Manage the monthly accounts payable (AP) process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Support month-end close (ME Close) by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial adjustments.
• Oversee billing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in financial reporting, including the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other reports.
• Utilize payroll experience to support payroll processing and reporting functions.
• Conduct financial analysis, identifying trends and providing insights to support business decisions.
• Handle ad hoc accounting projects as assigned to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, billing, and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close processes and general ledger reconciliation.
• Prior exposure to payroll accounting is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
