Role Overview The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the largest airline pilot union in the world and the largest non‑governmental aviation safety organization in the world seeks an experienced Scheduling Administrative Coordinator for the Delta Master Executive Council (MEC) Office in Atlanta, representing over 17,000 pilots flying for Delta. The Accounting Assistant provides support to the MEC Administration, Finance department, and MEC Office Supervisor by maintaining accurate financial records, submitting all required financial data filings in a timely manner, and reviewing invoices received by the MEC for accuracy and payment processing. This position will also assist in the administration and reconciliation of funds held in the custody of the MEC and the preparation of financial data to be presented at MEC meetings. Travel: 0 – 2 %. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college preferred. Two (2) years prior or related experience with an emphasis on business math and accounting strongly preferred, three (3) or more preferred. Software: Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks. Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts. Customer/member service experience strongly preferred along with ability to work productively in a team environment. Ability to work efficiently and effectively on assigned tasks, without close supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational and follow‑through skills, with the ability to handle multiple detailed tasks while under deadline pressure.
