Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Prepare and manage invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile credit card statements to verify accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in creating financial reports and budgets to support company objectives.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing follow-up inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve accounting-related issues as they arise.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
