If your goals and values align with Honda’s, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future! _**Location**_ Marysville, Ohio _**Job Purpose**_ Responsible for designing, following manufacture and processing of plastic injection molds for North American mass production facilities with outputs in the form of 3D models while working closely with customers and internal team members to ensure high quality parts and production stability. _**Key Accountabilities**_

• Design new model plastic injection molds utilizing CAD software
• Investigate improvements or countermeasure tooling related problems during mold builds, trials, and mass production
• Set processing for new model parts for manufacturability
• Design Project Leader of plastics tools for new model projects
• Follow and check in house and supplier designs
• Installation of plastics tools at North American plants
• Investigate and implement business related improvement items

_**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**_

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering, Associate’s Degree with 2 years of additional relevant experience, or 4 years of additional relevant experience with no degree
• At least 3 years die, mold or tooling design experience
• CAD software experience
• Mechanicalmanufacturing knowledge

_**Workstyle**_

• 50% office environment: sitting for extended periods and working on PC equipment
• 40% manufacturing environment: PPE required at all times in manufacturing environment, standing for prolonged periods (up to 8hrs), occasionally lifting up to 40lbs, occasionally working inside injection machines, potential exposure to heat, occasional exposure to dust, oil or grease
• Up to 10% travel required, including international (Japan, Canada, Mexico)
