Job Description

The AI Product Strategist – Private Equity at BlueFlame AI will be pivotal in defining workflows and building use cases with the company’s private equity clients. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, ambitious, organized, and passionate about generative AI and making workflows for private equity more efficient. This is a client-facing role that requires flexibility and a drive to excel in a rapidly changing and fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer: Actively seek out and document client feedback, synthesizing insights and recommendations for the product team; collaborate with our marketing team to develop content that resonates with financial professionals, ensuring accurate reflection of their language and priorities; participate in cross-functional meetings to share client perspectives and advocate for their needs
  • Curate and Deliver Financial Use Cases: Collaborate with our product team to develop a library of AI-powered solutions tailored to the unique needs of financial institutions; customize the positioning and functionality of each use case to align with specific investment strategies and processes; create engaging content to educate prospects and clients on the transformative potential of AI
  • Build and Maintain Strong Client Relationships: Engage directly with decision-makers at financial institutions to uncover their most pressing workflow challenges; develop compelling presentations and demos that showcase how the company’s solutions address these obstacles, emphasizing tangible benefits and ROI; maintain regular communication post-implementation to gather feedback and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Partner with Sales and Post-Sales Teams: Work closely with our sales team to identify high-priority prospects and develop targeted outreach strategies; collaborate with the post-sales teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients; establish regular check-ins to monitor solution performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in AI within financial services; conduct in-depth analyses of competing solutions, identifying key differentiators and areas where BlueFlame AI can outperform; research and propose new AI-powered solutions that address unique challenges faced by financial institutions

Qualifications

Finance Background: At least two years of front-office experience at a top-tier investment bank or private equity firm, coupled with familiarity across complex financial processes such as transaction advisory, buyouts, portfolio management, capital markets, and due diligence

Required Skills

  • Highly Developed Executive Presence: Demonstrated capability to engage senior stakeholders and navigate internal hierarchies within financial institutions, with a focus on forging meaningful, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and earning their strategic alignment
  • Outstanding Presentation and Communication Skills: Proven comfort conducting impromptu whiteboard sessions as well as polished presentations, with the ability to distill and communicate intricate technical and financial concepts in a clear, engaging manner tailored to varied audience needs
  • Curiosity About Generative AI and Technology: Evident interest in the transformative potential of generative AI for the financial sector, accompanied by the desire to remain current with machine learning developments and the broader data-driven landscape
  • Autonomous, Organized, and Collaborative: Skilled in setting independent priorities and excelling in ambiguous circumstances, while simultaneously thriving in a fast-paced startup environment that demands both efficient cross-functional partnerships and accountability

Pay range and compensation package

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to a base salary and competitive benefits package, successful candidates will be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus and participate in the company’s equity plan.
