Job Title: Warehouse Specialist
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Specialist where you will be responsible for operating essential warehouse equipment, ensuring accurate order processing, and maintaining inventory control. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material movement equipment.
• Understand and utilize ESD safe practices.
• Pick, pack, and process orders with accuracy.
• Train to become cross-functional with other team members.
• Use power and hand tools as needed.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain inventory records.
• Store equipment safely and manage inventory levels of raw packaging materials.
• Follow all safety regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Train others in tasks and processes once proficient.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1+ year of shipping experience in a warehouse setting.
• 1+ year of packaging experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
• Basic computer experience.
• Strong math and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Forklift License or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of ERP, Business Central, UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipping software.
• Experience with scanners, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Ability to work flexible hours if needed.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6am to 3:30pm and every other Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. The role requires the ability to stand for the full shift and perform tasks in a warehouse setting using various electronic devices and equipment. A positive attitude and good work ethic are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
