Athletic Internship Opportunities - Unpaid

Reporting To: Athletic Director

Employee Status: Temporary - Unpaid

Internship Opportunities:
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) Athletics is committed to providing an internship experience that will
acquaint students/recent graduates with the working environment of the sports industry, while providing them
with hands-on experiences in sporting event management and promotion. Internships are unpaid.

Types of Internships:

A variety of internships are offered by CHCA Athletics. Each internship differs and the time commitment varies
depending on specific internship. The following internships are available in the following areas:

#1 - Event Operations: Assist with the planning and coordination of events. Duties include event operations
and administration, database entry, logistics, participant services, ticketing, registration, volunteer recruitment
and management, hospitality, meeting planning, and general support.

#2 - Social Media and Marketing: Assist with developing the social media presence, and communications
efforts for CHCA Athletics and its events. Duties may include writing press releases, video production, video
and photo library maintenance, media follow-up, contributing to social media presence, graphic creation,
website, and email blasts. Additional duties include assisting with grassroots marketing efforts, media
operations for CHCA Athletics.

#3 - Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Corporate Sponsorship Sales: Participate in the planning, coordination
and implementation of business development, marketing, promotional and fund-raising activities for CHCA
Athletics and its events (Golf Classic, Step-Up To The Plate, Eagle Nation Kickoff, ACA's). Duties include prospect
research, database entry, membership solicitation and membership fulfillment.
#4 - Finance: Assist with daily financial tasks and provide financial support for financial operations during CHCA
Athletics. The internship experience will include ticketing, payables processing and accounts receivable
management.

#5 - Youth Programs: Planning and coordinating youth events in conjunction with events hosted by CHCA
Athletics. Duties include event operations and administration, logistics, logistics, youth committee planning,
grassroots marketing efforts and more.

Requirements:

Graduate
Any student who has recently graduated from an accredited college or university or any student who is
currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited graduate school.
Undergraduate

Any undergraduate student who is currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college or university.

Internship Options:
#1 Fall Internship Dates: September 6, 2022 - December 17, 2022
#2 Winter Internship Dates: November 15, 2022 - March 15, 2023
#3 Spring Internship Dates: March 10, 2023 - June 10, 2023
#4 Fall Semester Dates: September 6, 2022 - December 31, 2022
#5 Spring Semester Dates: January 2 - June 10, 2023
#6 Year Long: September 6, 2022 - June 10, 2023
