The Beverage Cart Attendant is integral to the guest experience and provides food and beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. The Beverage Cart Attendant will service beverages at the facility and provide a high-quality service-oriented environment. Requirements 1-2 years of bartending experience Must possess a valid driver's license Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes preferred Ability to operate computerized/electronic cash register system Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely Knowledge of and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquette Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public Must have strong skills in Customer Service Must be dependable Responsibilities Maintain a professional appearance at all times Drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies Stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed Operate Micros, handle cash, room charges, guest member charges and credit card charges according to procedure Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service. Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner Assist in upkeep of the golf course as needed Assist in food preparation and tend bar as needed Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
