Direct Hire Positions in Whitsett NC

Position: Catcher

Hours: 6pm to 6am (2-2-3 schedule)

Catcher functions and responsibilities:

• Visually inspect product for damage or other non-conforming conditions
• Ensures the cartons are stacked and placed on pallet correctly
• Places off quality cartons on the waste pallet to be counted by the operator
• Assist the operator in running quality cartons to customer specifications at the fastest possible speed
• Reports unsafe conditions to the operator, Team lead or Supervisor
• Maintain the physical structure of the establishment by keeping the work area neat, clean, and safe.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Helps during machine down with clean up and resolutions
• Performs other related productions duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass Background Check and Drug screen
• Reliable Transportation
• Must be able to interview in Greensboro NC (Positions are in Whitsett)
