We’re seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to join our team, responsible for operating and monitoring batch/continuous chemical processes in support of the lubricant and personal care industry.

You’ll manage process controls, follow strict safety protocols, and ensure product quality throughout production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor batch or continuous reactor systems and auxiliary equipment

Record production data using SAP and complete shift documentation

Load/unload bulk chemicals and containers using a forklift

Read and follow batch sheets and SOPs accurately

Perform basic calculations for scaling batches and measuring tank volumes

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

Collaborate with team members during shift changes and daily operations

Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of chemical manufacturing or material handling experience
• Basic math skills (percentages, fractions, unit conversions)
• Forklift/tow motor experience preferred
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to wear PPE and work in varied conditions (including outdoors)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends

Bonus if you have:

• SAP knowledge
• RCRA/DOT hazardous material training
• Previous experience in batch chemical manufacturing
