Job Title: Chemical Operator

7:00AM to 4:00PM

Position Summary:
The Chemical Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating chemical processing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This role involves observing instrumentation, adjusting equipment, conducting quality tests, and performing routine maintenance, all while maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor gauges, control panels, and instrumentation to confirm processes are operating within specified limits.
• Adjust pumps, valves, and other equipment to maintain consistent operations and correct process deviations.
• Conduct tests on product samples to verify chemical properties and compliance with quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to safely manage hazardous materials and prevent incidents.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to support continuous and safe operation.
• Accurately record process data, equipment readings, and quality control results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating specialized machinery
• Basic mechanical skills to perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail for monitoring complex systems and handling hazardous materials.
• Good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to work in demanding environments, including noise exposure and use of protective gear.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or coursework in chemical processing, safety, or equipment operation preferred.

Work Environment:
This role may require shift work and involves working in industrial plant settings with exposure to noise, chemicals, and physically demanding tasks.
