Join Clean Harbors as a Class A CDL Driver , where you will operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks at our customer sites, including vans and tankers. As an essential part of our team, you will engage in both driving and non-driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

***Must possess a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and no restrictions***

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by complying with all work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a collaborative team environment.
• Load and unload vehicles while ensuring proper placarding to meet company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports accurately.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT regulations.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating on-call basis every other week.
• Engage in site remediation and handling of hazardous materials as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, including locations such as Ohio and Arkansas.
• Strong physical ability to meet job requirements.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical is required.
• Must meet facial hair standards in accordance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Previous Hazmat experience.
• Experience with manual labor.
