Job Overview:
Trinitas Regional Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, was established in 2000 through the consolidation of Elizabeth General Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospital. Situated in Elizabeth, NJ, the hospital serves a population across Union County, offering comprehensive healthcare across two campuses. With 554 beds, including a 120 bed long-term care facility and a 98 bed behavioral health facility, Trinitas annually treats nearly 20,000 inpatients, 70,000 emergency patients and accommodates over 450,000 outpatient visits. Trinitas is recognized for excellence across 12 Centers of Excellence, ranging from cardiology to sleep medicine. The Trinitas nursing float pool provides extraordinary care to patients across all populations, including Med/Surg 38 bed unit, Telemetry 38 bed unit and Oncology 22 bed unit.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing clinical nursing expertise to bedside staff to promote an environment of safe and effective care for all patients.The individual in this position will provide complex wound care; perform palliative care assessments; and lead nursing teams to promote safe and evidence based patient care.
Qualifications:
MSN required with 3-5 years of bedside clinical experience,
Leadership experience preferred.
