Responsibilities
- Execute service or Installers work completion as directed by dispatcher,
- Paid travel up to 2-3 hours daily and return home at night.
- Prepare for on-site installation.
- Install and repair commercial HVAC systems.
- Document work and provide technical support to customers.
- Work with equipment including Rooftop Units, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Hot Water/Steam Boilers, Packaged Air Conditioners, Computer Room AC Equipment, Control Systems, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps, Refrigerated Air Dryers, Air Compressors, Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as a Commercial HVAC Installer
- Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Effective team player.
- Prepare for on-site installation.
- Document work and provide technical support to customers.
- Equipment includes Rooftop Units, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Packaged Air Conditioners, Computer Room AC Equipment, Control Systems, Air Handling/Fan Coil Units, Condensers/Chilled Water Pumps, Refrigerated Air Dryers, Air Compressors, Exhaust Fans, Ice Machines, Variable Frequency Drives, and Humidifiers.
Physical Requirements
- Lift & move 75 lbs
- Have hand tools
- 3+ years experience working with or installing commercial HVAC systems, and Chiller experience
- Will need experience with refrigeration equipment, wiring, schematics and low voltage controls, chillers, and packaged HVAC equipment.
- Universal EPA certified - (Preferred)
- Journeyman HVAC preferred but not required.
- Clean driving record.
