Veracode is seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Information Security team. As a leader in the Application Security community, our customers rely on us to deliver a world-class platform in a highly secure fashion. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help secure, scale, and defend our products and infrastructure, ensuring our customers are protected.What you'll be doing:

• Drive implementation, adoption and advanced use of security tools and best practices.
• Analyze security risks, network activity and system logs for anomalies and suspicious or malicious activity.
• Maintain and upgrade existing security systems to protect against new and evolving threats.
• Document, communicate, and advise management on security posture.
• Create and implement mitigation strategies through automation and security-as-code solutions.
• Work with other departments to integrate security into business operations and foster a security-first culture.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 1-2 years AWS experience; AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialty certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an information Security or technical/support role.
• Familiarity with logging and storage SIEM technologies with Splunk Experience preferred.
• Experience in source code management, SOAR automation and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Fundamental grasp on computer networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux) and access management.
• Have a curiosity-driven approach to solutioning and demonstrate ability to self-teach.
• Demonstrate clear and concise communication, organization, documentation and report writing skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
