We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely delivering packages to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining efficient route operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, timely deliveries, and positive customer interactions. Prior delivery driver experience and familiarity with warehouse operations are highly valued. We service out of the South Philadelphia terminal and deliveries to the Philadelphia and surroundings area.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and stepvans to deliver packages across assigned routes
• Drive route to deliver parcels efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures when required
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
• Follow company policies for safety and security during all delivery operations

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background screening, drug test, and DOT physical
• Prior experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in warehouse operations preferred
• Experience with route driving, heavy lifting, and moving packages are a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to lift heavy packages frequently and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes and equipment
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills for efficient deliveries
• Reliable transportation to start shifts on time each day
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards
