Dispatcher - New Britain Schools
Pay: $27 - $28/hr based on experience
Shifts: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Your Role as Dispatcher:
Manage daily bus routes, ensuring smooth operations and on-time arrivals.
Act as primary communication link with drivers, monitors, and school administrators.
Coach and counsel drivers and monitors, providing ongoing support and feedback.
Respond swiftly and effectively to route issues, scheduling changes, and complaints.
Oversee radio and telephone communications, ensuring clear, effective messaging.
Assist with administrative tasks such as driver payroll, billing, and charter reservations.
Step in to provide driving coverage when needed.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 3-5 years in dispatch, transportation, or related fields.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Excellent communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and computer literacy.
Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced environments and comfortable managing tight deadlines.
Compliance: Ability to pass DOT drug testing and physical examination. Please note DOT regulations prohibit the use of Schedule I substances, including marijuana.
