Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician for a Nocturnist Per diem position at Bergen NewBridge Hospital in Paramus
As our Nocturnist you will have APC coverage
Shifts are Monday - Friday from 12p-8a
Avg daily 24 hr census is 35-45 - Does not peak beyond this range
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations.
Duties:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform medical procedures including airway management and medication administration
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Respond to medical emergencies with speed and efficiency
- Utilize advanced medical knowledge to make critical decisions under pressure
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
- NJ Medical License
