Entry-Level Architectural Designer, Clifton Park, NYPosition Overview:We have an immediate opening for a full-time architectural designer in our growing building systems group located at our Clifton Park, NY office. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and advancement in MJ's municipal and federal markets. Responsibilities: Work within a project team to support architectural projects from initial project programming up to and through construction. Design and renovation of buildings for local municipalities, New York State agencies and the federal government. Modify and update designs based on review comments from management. Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including subconsultants and other disciplines.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in architecture from an ABET-accredited college. 0-5 years of experience in architectural design and drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software. Understanding of NYS building codes and regulations. Technical knowledge in BIM. Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules. Have excellent technical writing and communication skills Must be a U.S. Citizen.Pay is based on applicant's ability and will be rated accordingly.
