Job Summary

Focus on company compromise with the public and community health by finding innovative ways to improve company health, air and water pollution, waste disposal, and recycling. Work in strengthening processes for things like pollution and clean up existing hazards. Responsible for obtaining, analyzing, updating, and maintaining operating in OSHA compliance and be an active contributor of any System that the company needs with procedures and projects that help the environment. Work for or with municipalities groups to improve standard procedures at a local and federal government level.

8am-5pm Mon-Fri

$24.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advice all departments on OSHA standards and any other System that require environmental proofs or documentation.
• Legal complaints on Environmental and Safety city, state and federal requirements
• Train employees’ corporate programs and maintain the training records.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to NC written in internal and external audits.
• Responsible for the collection, storage and management of shipments of Hazardous Waste.

Training Required:

Training Plan according to company requirements / OSHA

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

• Technical degree preferred
• Task oriented individual able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• SPC/SQC and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) experience
• Must possess planning/organization, analytical and strong problem solving skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (Bilingual: English/Spanish)
• Must be self-directed and able to lead/facilitate diverse work teams
• Ability to positively interact with others in the plant in a team environment
