ETL Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Chicago Responsibilities Quality Engineer will be responsible for ETL process data testing within Master Data Management (MDM) system, Data Warehouse, as well as legacy platforms. Test planning and execution for ETL processes, including data validation, data quality checks, and issue investigation. Strong hands-on experience in QA practices, root cause analysis, test strategy, test design, test execution, reporting, and heatmaps. Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and support external teams in the development of resolutions. Hands-on experience with one or more scripting languages (C#, Python, JS, PowerShell, etc.) is a strong plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, aggregate, analyze, and wrangle significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Hands-on experience with Kodda or SSIS packages is a strong plus. Strong communication and client/business interfacing and interpersonal skills are a must. Qualifications Hands-on experience with AI testing tools. At least 8 years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing. Minimum intermediate SQL knowledge. At least 10 years of extensive professional experience in Quality Assurance. Experience with dimensional databases.
