DX is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to execute our growing series of DX-hosted in-person panel events for engineering leaders. These events gather 70110 attendees and feature speakers from top companies like Netflix, Slack, and Uber. We host 510 of these events each year across the US and Europe.
This is an execution-heavy role focused on running our well-established event playbook with a high bar for quality and care, from booking venues and managing vendors to organizing the onsite team and tracking RSVPs. A key part of the job is internal coordination: youll need to build strong relationships across sales and customer teams to ensure the right people are aware of upcoming events in their region and that high-quality attendees are being invited. That means understanding our ideal customer profile, doing your own research to ensure weve invited everyone we should, and making it dead simple for others to send outreach often by drafting invites for them to review and send. We expect a level of thoroughness and rigor in this role that goes beyond what most companies ask for.
The ideal candidate is early in their career (13 years of experience), highly detail-oriented, and ambitious. This role also requires travel to support on-site execution for each event primarily within the U.S., with occasional international trips.
When not traveling for events, this role is expected to be in the office four days a week. DXs office is located in downtown Salt Lake City, and we provide parking passes for all in-office employees.
