About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Board Relations and Volunteer Engagement. The successful candidate will serve as a key advisor to various boards and committees, providing guidance on governance best practices, operational strategies, and board engagement. This role requires a professional with a strong background in supporting boards and board leadership, as well as managing volunteers at all levels of engagement. The Executive Director will be responsible for building and enhancing the volunteer leadership network, and experience in a foundation or with a board that engages in fundraising is preferred. Applicants for the Executive Director position should be adept at working within diverse groups, demonstrating diplomatic skills, and leading through influence. The role involves close collaboration with the Chief of Staff, the President, the Board of Directors, and other members of the Foundation and the greater community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and expanding relationships across a complex organization and will be able to identify metrics that guide a robust volunteer engagement strategy.
