POSITION SUMMARY The Executive Recruiter plays a critical role in advancing Vistage’s mission to improve the effectiveness and enhance the lives of CEOs, business owners, and executives of small and midsize businesses. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and selecting accomplished leaders to become Vistage Executive Coaches, independent contractors who build and lead peer advisory groups of CEOs and business leaders, supported by Vistage’s brand, tools, training, and community. Our Coaches are a distinguished group of accomplished business leaders who have led organizations in a wide range of industries and now want to leverage their experience in a new way. Recruiting them requires persistence, credibility, and ability. This role requires the ability to inspire entrepreneurial leaders to pursue a purpose-driven career shift. Combining high-volume sourcing with discerning selection, focusing not just on candidate qualifications but also on entrepreneurial mindset and long-term fit. You’ll spend 75% of your time on proactive sourcing and outreach and 25% on engaging inbound candidates, building a strong pipeline across the designated territory. As both brand ambassador and trusted advisor, you’ll educate prospects on the impact of the Chair role, guide them through a rigorous selection process, and set the stage for their success as Vistage Chairs. RESPONSIBILITIES High-volume net new outreach along with continuous candidate nurture to ensure a consistent healthy pipeline of candidates. Inspire candidates by educating them on the Vistage Executive Coaching practice and our purpose-driven work. Conduct behavioral and performance-based interviews via phone and video to evaluate leadership experience, entrepreneurial mindset, and coaching potential. Own the end-to-end recruiting process, including assessments, background checks, contracts, and onboarding into the Vistage Academy development program. Partner with Vistage field leadership to align recruiting efforts with market growth strategies in the West. Maintain accurate pipeline data to forecast progress and ensure consistent candidate flow. Serve as a credible, authentic, and enthusiastic ambassador to candidates and the Vistage community. QUALIFICATIONS 5-7+ years of experience in recruiting executive leadership talent in a competitive market Successful track record with 10+ years of high-volume candidate selection best practices including sourcing, recruiting, qualifying, and closing of high-level executive candidates. Ability to understand and convey opportunity complexity in a polished and professional manner and to capture the attention of busy, C-level candidates Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust, credibility, and influence with accomplished leaders. Proven ability to balance high-volume outreach with discerning candidate selection focused on long-term success. Excellent candidate management, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Tenacity, resilience, and ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced performance-oriented environment. Skilled in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Salesforce, and/or applicant tracking systems.
