Right in the middle of those hot summer days relaxing on the beach and cold snowy days with Santa, is our favorite time of the year, WEDDING SEASON! And a perfect way to help you pay for all those vacations and presents! We are looking with weekend help starting mid-August through October...and beyond if you wish!
JDK is an experienced and distinguished event-planning, catering, and design company serving central PA with a team dedicated to helping our customers create memorable experiences that will last a lifetime. Here's what an ordinary day of work might look like:
- On-site, help unload all the boxes and event items from the JDK truck
- Get your creative juices flowing and set up a dessert or coffee station, dessert bar or do table settings
- Serve hor d'oeuvres or beverages during cocktail hour
- With your partner, serve salad, dinner, coffee, and cake throughout the evening while also making sure the event is looking neat and tidy
- Have fun! Dancing optional
- Break down stations and pack all items back in the JDK truck to return to the warehouse
You're gonna need this to carry out this job:
- Availability to work Saturdays
Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time - Ability to work long shifts of anywhere between 8-12 hours
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Age 16 or older
- Established bank account
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Drivers License or ID
- Authorization to work in the USA
