A health system in Santa Clara County is looking to bring on a new Family Practice Physician to oversee on-site Women's Health Services and ensure that high-quality medical care is provided. The Family Practice Physician reports up the the facility Chief Medical Officer while operating as the lead or supervising physician, with various healthcare professionals reporting. These individuals may include Labor and Delivery Nurses, Gynecology Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Previous experience specializing in women's reproductive health, including care related to pregnancy, childbirth, etc. is strong encouraged for consideration of this opportunity. It will definitely be required to carry a current California Medical License to practice as a Family Practice Physician at this facility. As a Physician, one will be expected to have the following responsibilities:

• Perform annual well-woman exams, including pap smears, breast exams, etc.
• Contraceptive counseling as well as family planning
• Menopause treatment to help women manage and minimize symptoms
• Perform surgeries like hysterectomy, laparoscopy, and colposcopy
