Field Service Technician

Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a fully cleared Field Service Technician to work on an enterprise IT program at a client site in McLean, Virginia.

In this role you will leverage your strong communications and problem solving experience to work independently, receiving minimal guidance while providing Tier 1 and 2 support to resolve incidents. There are no supervisory responsibilities but you will likely provide guidance to new associates. The primary work assignments will focus on assigning passwords and monitoring use of resources, backing up files as required and working with management to define requests for information. Additionally you may;

• Troubleshoot applications and operating systems,
\n
• Perform access management,
\n
• Perform installation support and use active directory to create account access profiles,
\n
• Provide technical support and customer service to the organization's users of computer applications and hardware,
\n
• Answer questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures,
\n
• Collaborate with network services, software engineering and or application development in order to restore services or identify problems,
\n
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience,
\n
• Lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements,
\n
• Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions,
\n
• Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information,
\n
• Explain complex concepts.
\n

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

\n

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

\n
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
\n
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of applicable experience, or 6+ years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
\n
• Prior CMA or DMA experience with this customer.
\n

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
