Field Service Technician

Our client, a Biomedical Research company, is interested in hiring Field Service Technicians to join their team! is As a Field Service Technician, you will provide equipment installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and technical support. The ideal candidate would be able to travel up to 85% on the road focused regionally, but nationally needed. Location: seeking candidates in the Boston, MA area.

What will you be doing?

• Install, assemble, and disassemble equipment across the US.
• Complete preventive maintenance requirements.
• Provide electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Time and resource management of service activities and projects.
• Spare parts management: identifying the range, type, quantity, price, delivery. 
• Preventative maintenance management: propositions and operative management.

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude
• 5 years minimum of experience in troubleshooting and servicing miscellaneous machinery and equipment. Background, Steam Sterilization, and Industrial Washing processes is a plus.
• Electro-mechanical; knowledge of fluids, electrical and HVAC as well as ability to diagnose PLC controls. 
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills .
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and outstanding customer service skills.
