The Broadview Heights Fire Department is currently hiring for a Firefighter/Paramedic. All candidates must take the FireTEAM exam & PHQ through the National Testing Network, which must be posted along with the application by the deadline date of:

Salary Information: $73,107.15

Preference Points up to a maximum of 10 points are awarded as follows:
▪ Associate Degree: 2 points
▪ Bachelor's Degree: 4 points
▪ Military Service: To receive credit for military service, you need to submit a document showing an honorable discharge. After serving 180 days on active duty, you earn 1 point for each additional full year served, up to a maximum of 10 points
▪ City Service: Current employees in good standing moving from part-time to full-time in the same job classification will receive 8 points, provided they have completed all probationary requirements. A maximum of 10 points can be awarded from any combination of the preference point categories.
Job Requirements
✓ Must be the age of 18 to Under 35
✓ Citizenship Required
✓ High School Grad/GED
✓ Valid OHIO Driver's License
✓ Ability to Read/Speak English
✓ Must have corrected vision in both eyes to 20/20 without color blindness
✓ Must have the necessary certifications: Valid Ohio Paramedic license, Ohio Firefighters Certificate Level 2, Physical Agility Test (Tri-C test date 3/16/25, sign up by 3/12)
