About the Clinician's WorkdayA facility is seeking OBGYN locums to provide 24-hour backup call coverage for pregnancy-related but non-obstetric emergencies, as well as non-pregnancy gynecologic emergencies. This is inpatient-only coverage with no clinic responsibilities. Backup providers are very rarely called in, and the hospital follows a 24/7 mid-wife model with both a physician and mid-wife always on-site. The schedule is 7a7a, and temporary privileges are available for providers with a clean file. EMR system is Allscripts. The hospital does not perform terminations but will perform D&Cs for miscarriages. Coverage is needed on the following dates: August 9, 10, 13, 18, and 29; September 3, 10, 14, 15, 17, and 24; October 1, 8, 15, 21, and 29; November 3, 5, 12, and 18; and December 3, 9, 13, and 23.
