Description

•Select, measure, cut, shape and join wood materials with nails, screws, and glue for building frames

•Add plywood sheathing and Drywall to existing framework

•Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.

•Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.

•Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.

Requirements

•3-4+ yrs of carpentry experience

•Intermediate Math skills

•Able to understand and identify framing terminology

•Use power and hand tools and carpentry equipment

•Above-average job skills and productivity

•Read construction drawings and blueprints

•Able to inspect for quality performance
