About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Procurement to establish and oversee a centralized procurement function with a focus on food, beverage, and packaging categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to manage an annual spend exceeding $500M. This role involves leading a team of tactical buyers and managers, as well as partnering with and leading internal stakeholders in a procurement transformation. A key aspect of the position is to negotiate with suppliers to meet and exceed savings targets. Applicants for the Head of Procurement position at the company should have a proven track record in procurement, with experience in negotiating and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost savings. The role requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and drive a procurement transformation. A strategic mindset and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders are essential.
