Job Description Healthcare Recruiter
VieMed Healthcare Staffing (VHS) is looking for experienced Healthcare Recruiters to join our team. As a recruiter, you will connect and build relationships with healthcare workers to identify optimal opportunities for them with VHS clients. You will be the primary point of contact between VHS and the travelers that work for you, reviewing resumes, submitting to open jobs in the market and recruiting the best candidates based upon the needs of the client.
We are looking for the right recruiters to leverage our internal database as well as job boards to outbound recruit for clients we service nationwide. Having the tenacity to find the best talent and conduct heavy outbound activity via phone and written communications is essential for success in this role.
Essential Functions - Attract, hire, and retain travelers for contract assignments with clients
- Ability to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to fulfil client needs nationwide
- Screen and vet each candidate to job order requirements
- Provide high level customer service to our contractors
- Utilize strong communication skills to work with client account managers
- Utilize time management and organizational skills to run a successful desk
- Meet department KPI targets set by your Recruitment Manager
- Develop knowledge of database and other recruiting tools
- Develop recruiting strategies and create goals

Work Environment This position is considered local to the Lafayette, LA office. However, VHS does offer remote positions to those candidates with a minimum of 2 years agency healthcare recruiting experience if living outside of the Lafayette, LA area. Those local to the office are given the opportunity to earn work from home days as their book of business grows and regular success is established.

- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a phone, headset, calculator, copier, and printer
- The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access files, computer equipment, copier, etc.
Position Type/Expected hours worked This is a full-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (flexible start/end times with manager discretion, requiring 8 hours per day). Regular and punctual attendance is required. There may be after hours communications with candidates based on their availability to work around their clinical shift times.
Required Education and Experience - High school diploma/GED and/or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of full-time customer service, sales, and/or recruiting experience
Preferred Education and Experience - Relevant medical staffing industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Bullhorn ATS/CRM

Compensation Pay: 40,000-$250,000 annually (including all commissions)
- Base Salary: 40,000 USD - $50,000 USD (depending on experience/background)
- Commission based on sales (6.0-7.5% based on experience and production targets)
