Job Summary

· Provide in-home academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum.

· Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material.

· Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.

· Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.

· Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.

· The location of the in-home tutoring will be near the 19147, 19118, and 19103 zip code areas. 

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for teachers, subject matter experts (Masters Students, PhD Students, Engineers, etc) or soon-to-be teachers who can meet the following criteria:

· Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching

· Committed to providing excellent customer service

· Enjoy working with students & families

· Great communication skills

· Ability to cater to an extensive range of learning styles

What We're Looking For: We're seeking dynamic, compassionate educators who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a current, valid registration with the  Pennsylvania Department of Education .
• You're a  qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one).
• You're a  current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• You have experience as a  lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
