To perform a variety of histologic procedures on a variety of patient specimens to provide the Pathologists with quality slides with which to make their diagnosis.

• 2yr Associates in Science

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand SOPS and departmental procedure and safety manuals
• Ability to understand communication with attending pathologist and or pathology assistant in both written and oral forms
• Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving and team building skills
• May teach and orient new staff regarding SOPS

Licenses/Certificates/Registrations:

• New York State License / ASCP certified

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $22.33 to $40.50 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
