HR Administrative Assistant | 6-8 Week Contract | Onsite in Downey (Mon-Fri) | $60K

Position: Temporary Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Start Date: ASAP (6-8weeks)

Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, onsite Monday-Friday

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join their team on a 6–8-week contract, supporting their Downey office. In this role, you will assist with managing employee records, documentation, onboarding and offboarding processes, and compliance tracking. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of HR administrative experience and proficiency with HRIS

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation with accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee the new hire onboarding process, including preparation of orientation materials and coordination of welcome sessions.
• Manage offboarding procedures, including exit documentation, final paperwork, and transition processing.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 1-3 years of direct HR administrative experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail in managing HR records and sensitive information.
• Proficiency with HRIS – UKG is ideal
