About Historic South Initiative (HSI):
HSI is a nonprofit revitalizing Toledos Old South End by investing in housing, commercial development, education, and local organizations. Our mission is community-led transformation in one of the citys most historic neighborhoods.

Position: Donor Engagement & Individual Giving Manager
We seek a strategic, donor-focused professional to grow and sustain our individual giving program. This role is key to cultivating strong donor relationships and building a culture of philanthropy in support of neighborhood revitalization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fundraising & Donor Strategy: Partner with leadership and the Board to develop and execute a donor engagement plan.
• Donor Relations: Cultivate, steward, and grow relationships with new and existing donors through outreach, events, and regular communication.
• Stewardship & Communications: Maintain donor records (CRM), develop compelling donor materials, and support donor events.
• Collaboration: Work closely with staff, committees, and consultants to align giving strategies with HSIs mission and goals.

Desired Outcomes:

• Strengthen and expand donor base
• Retain and grow existing donor relationships
• Implement and track progress toward giving goals

Qualifications:

• 35 years in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or sales
• Proven ability to build authentic relationships and secure donations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for community development and neighborhood revitalization
• Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively
