Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in industrial manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Painter to join their dynamic team for a 4 week project. As an Industrial Painter, you will be an integral part of the production department, supporting the team in delivering high-quality painted products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Painter

Location: Fayette, AL

Pay Range: $18.00 -$25.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday or Friday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts

What's the Job?

• Sand and prepare dump bodies for painting
• Prime and undercoat all dump bodies and parts
• Spray paint dump bodies and parts, including mixing paint for special colors
• Coordinate movement of dump bodies and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with EPA regulations
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on painting equipment and touch up painted surfaces as needed

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of industrial or automotive painting experience
• Familiarity with aerosol airless sprayers
• Ability to operate equipment such as saws, torches, and forklifts
• Ability to wear a respirator, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods
