Inspire AiG Guide Coordinator

At Inspire, our mission is to cultivate confidence in God’s Word through transformational experiences throughout the world. The AiG Guide Coordinator plays a pivotal role in achieving this mission by overseeing the planning, execution, and communication around group tours at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This role stewards transformative guest experiences that deepen understanding of the gospel message and lead to greater confidence in and connection to the Word of God. 

Lead Guide

• Be trained as an Inspire guide to take guests through the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum experiences.
• Recruit, hire and assist in training new guides
• Coordinate guides for Inspire group tours at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum
• Serve as a VIP guide for INSPIRE and/or AiG as needed

Operations

• Coordinate with AiG to create a seamless experience for guests
• Ensure listening devices are charged and in good working order
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for daily tours
• Work with the Director of Education to build and maintain guide training 
• Work with the Director of Education to build new specialized content and experiences inside Ark Encounter and Creation Museum

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effectively engaging and guiding guests
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Some ability to travel is required as we are an experience focused organization
• Some availability on nights & weekends will be required 
• Availability for a flexible work schedule
• Adaptability is crucial for a dynamic ministry environment
• BS/BA in History, Biblical Studies or relevant field; MDiv, ThM, PhD, is a plus
• Confirmation of your agreement with both the AiG and Inspire Statements of Faith 
• Must maintain permanent residence within a 75-mile radius of both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.
