Data Scientist (Intern)

As a Data Scientist (Intern), you will be a team member on the Business Intelligence and Analytics team responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of advanced analytical, data science, and machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing recommendations for AI/ML use cases or proofs of concept designs
• Conduct data exploration, extraction, cleansing, standardization, and wrangling to identify trends and correlations
• Support and maintain existing BI and ETL solutions, validation processes, and visualizations

Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or other quantitative fields
• Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries and Jupyter notebook development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with any of the following BI/visualization tools: Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau
• Experience using AWS, Snowflake, and cloud-native tools
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
