Job Title: Junior Personal Injury Paralegal

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. This entry-level position is ideal for those with some experience or those looking to specialize in personal injury law. The role involves assisting senior paralegals and attorneys in managing cases from intake to resolution, focusing on administrative support, client communication, and basic legal research.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Support: Assist with the preparation of case files, including gathering medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
Client Interaction: Handle client communications, schedule appointments, and keep clients informed about their case progress under supervision.
Legal Research: Perform basic legal research under guidance to support case strategies and legal document preparation.
Document Preparation: Draft routine legal correspondence, discovery requests, and assist in preparing more complex legal documents under supervision.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain case files, manage calendars for case deadlines, and coordinate logistics for meetings and depositions.
Liaison Duties: Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties to secure necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; completion of a paralegal program or relevant coursework beneficial.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a legal environment, preferably with some exposure to personal injury law, though entry-level candidates with the right attitude and quick learning ability are welcome.
Skills:
Basic understanding of personal injury law and legal terminology.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Familiarity with legal software for case management, document management, and legal research.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
