A leading company in the Pharmaceutical industry is actively hiring for a Digital Automation Engineer to join their project team in Upper Providence, PA! The goal of this project is to bring in a new integrated automation platform and transform manual processes into automated ones. The team will integrate experimental data generated on these platforms into the client system, tie it to LIMS, and publish it to corporate databases.

Duties:

• Develop and implement digital automation solutions within Research Technologies, aligning with the broader digital transformation goals.
• Coordinate the planning, design, development, and deployment of digital automated solutions that improve research workflows, data management, and experimental processes.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital automation solutions, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation to deliver robust, annotated data to AIML and Predictive Science colleagues for analysis.
• Provide training and support to research teams on the use of new digital tools and automation systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a relevant scientific subject area; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital automation, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS), electronic lab notebooks (ELNs), and commercial digital orchestration software.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of automation technologies, including robotics, AI, machine learning, and data analytics.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, C#, or Java.

*Pay Range: $40-50/hr*
