Lead Solutions Consultant at Braze, Inc. (New York, NY)Duties: Serve as a technical advisor and product expert to prospective customers and internal sales team, bringing extensive product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to bear. Develop a deep understanding of prospective customers' goals and initiatives. Work closely with the sales team to illustrate how Braze can address clients' needs and provide meaningful value. Conduct pre-sales platform demonstrations to marketing, engineering, and executive leadership teams. Work with prospective customers to develop integration plans. Work with internal teams to help communicate the needs and gaps of the product landscape and enhance our process and content. Be a technical thought-leader across industry verticals, customer types, and geographic markets. Serve as a mentor to other Solutions Consultants within the organization.Requirements: Bachelor's in Technology Management, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus three (3) years of Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering, or related experience at a SaaS company. Experience must include: Applying domain knowledge of Integrated Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Marketing Analytics in a digital-first, customer experience realm; Selling into Enterprise-level accounts with a Pre-sales Consulting or Sales Engineering team; Coding or leveraging marketing technology to articulate and demonstrate a company's technologies; Utilizing at least two of the following tools/technologies: SaaS, Mobile, APIs, SDKs, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing, or Programming; Using programming language (Javascript and/or Python) to develop creative technical solutions and demonstrated to customers live; Testing/validating solutions using tools (Postman, Chrome Developer Tools, and Debugger); Conducting competitive analysis and market research; Liaising cross-functionally with departments (Product and Engineering teams and Sales teams); Analyzing and translating client business requirements into technical solutions, and delivering in the form of Request for Proposals/Request for Information documents and demonstrations; Applying, designing, and developing customized solutions to solve complex business challenges; Integrating competitive intelligence insights into product demonstrations and prospective/current client interactions to reinforce product strengths and differentiation; Creating detailed customer-specific technical specifications and architecture diagrams using tools (Miro/LucidCharts/Figma/Mural); Presenting technical solutions and conducting demonstrations during prospect/customer onsite meetings; and Synthesizing insights from the field and communicating their strategic implications to internal teams. Up to 30% international and domestic required for conferences, meetings, and customer-site visits.
