Job Description



Privia Health is currently recruiting a Legal Assistant to fill a key need on our legal team. The Legal Assistant will assist the members of our legal team with a variety of administrative and legal matters.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage contracts

    • Maintain and electronically file executed contracts and other legal documents

    • Coordinate execution of agreements

    • Update various charts with key terms from contracts

  • Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents/agreements

    • Prepare initial agreements and contracts based on templates (e.g., NDAs, BAAs, etc.)

    • Monitor and follow up on target deadlines

    • Track responses to ensure receipt

    • Keep involved parties informed of status

  • Assist the Legal team with administrative matters as needed

  • Maintain a project management system to track outstanding projects and objectives

  • Coordinate with Executive Assistant in scheduling calendar invitations and reserving conference rooms for meetings

  • Answer telephones, screen calls, and take messages; response to mail, telephone, and in-person inquiries for assistance and follow-up and record items in project management system

  • Work with attorneys to develop a standard filing system for the Legal Department’s files, filing system, and database

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Basic Research skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

  • Stellar organization, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $59,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.

In order to successfully work remotely, supporting our patients and providers, we require a minimum of 5 MBPS for Download Speed and 3 MBPS for the Upload Speed. This gives you an update as to how fast data transfer is with your internet connection and if it meets the minimum speed requirements. Work with your internet provider if you have questions about your connection. Employees who regularly work from home offices are eligible for expense reimbursement to offset this cost.
