Will you join us?Your New JobJob Summary:Our operating unit provides full-service construction, repair and emergency services related to Cable TV, Telephone, Fiber-Optic communications, and Power construction including underground trenching, plowing, missile and directional boring and aerial construction, and we are looking for a Lineman to join our team.Job Responsibilities: Installing, maintaining, operating, and repairing overhead cable TV and fiber-optic communication lines. Position requires operation of a Bucket truck following all safety and traffic regulations (after passing safety course). Assisting with pole framing and placement of stands. Climbing poles is required. Must operate hand and power tools of all types. Assisting with installation of guys and anchor. All the while ensuring all installation work is done according to quality standards.Required Skills & Qualifications: A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways GRIT values - Guts, Reliability, Innovation, and Teamwork Knowledge of Telecommunications Infrastructure: Understanding of telecommunication systems, including fiber optics, coaxial cables, and copper wires. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like cable splicing tools, test meters, and bucket trucks. Proficiency in operating cable-pulling machinery, trenchers, and aerial lift equipment. Experience in splicing and terminating fiber optic and copper cables. Ability to read and understand splicing diagrams and blueprints.
