We are seeking a skilled technician with experience in traditional locksmithing techniques to join our team specializing in the installation and upgrade of door lock systems for the hospitality industry. This role requires expertise in removing and replacing old mechanical locks with modern electronic systems while ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in locksmithing, mechanical engineering, and customer service. Responsibilities: Remove existing mechanical door lock systems from hotel room doors and other access points. Install and configure electronic door lock systems, including keypad, card reader, or biometric systems, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Ensure compatibility and integration of new electronic lock systems with existing door hardware and infrastructure. Program and test electronic lock systems to ensure proper functionality and security. Provide training to hotel staff on the operation and maintenance of new electronic lock systems. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the installation or operation of electronic lock systems. Collaborate with hotel management and maintenance staff to schedule installations and minimize disruption to guests. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
