LPN Acute Care - South 6 Orthopedics
Hours:Part-Time/24 Hours
Shift: Days: 12 hour shifts
Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend

Applies the nursing process with patients and families, integrating principles that reflect sensitivity to their age- specific/developmental needs, gender, culture, religion, psychosocial and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to provide evidence-based, holistic care in a manner that respects the worth and dignity of each individual. Practices professional nursing as a LPN legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act (section 20-87a(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes), American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Middlesex Hospital Professional Practice Model, Care That Makes a Difference.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license required
One year of experience in an Acute Care setting.
